Ernest gave up a high-paying job with Ford Motor Company. He and his wife, who is from the Philippines, returned to her home country to work. Ernest's knowledge of how big companies hire enabled him to establish a work training program. Several of those attending that program have also worshiped with him and the church. Many have gotten jobs and a good number have been baptized. His wife, Cora, teaches spoken English, which has also resulted in good contacts and Bible studies. They started about 2 years ago with 5 in attendance. Now, they average about 40. Ernest believes this model could be replicated in other areas and open doors for study.
