Terrance Brownlow-Dindy - Training toward Congregational Resourcefulness
Stacey Grant - Get off the island. Some rural or small congregations tend to become introverted. They sometimes cease to utilize the privileges of fellowship and exhortation regarding sister congregations. They occasionally become the proverbial ""family"" church. Brethren must be reminded that God-approved fellowship is vital to the Christian and local congregation's survival. Key thoughts: there must be (1) effective, constant communication between sister congregations; (2) there must be appreciation for the principle of fellowship and exhortation; (3) small congregations can make great contributions to the Lord's cause.
Daniel Howell - Programs on a Budget. Church programs cost money, sometimes a lot of money. As a small congregation, you do not always have access to a lot of money. Let's look at how we can do the work of the Lord on a tight budget.
John Moore - Three Resources and One Ministry Idea: Small congregations can sometimes have a small budget when it comes to acquiring teaching resources. Where can you go to find brotherhood classroom and pulpit resources for free and/or bargain prices? And, one ministry idea which puts members to work and provides help for the deacons and preacher.
Melvin Sapp - Should We Merge? If your numbers are critically low or your congregation is barely getting by, you may have thought about merging with an area congregation. Is it the right move? Can it work? Let's talk about some of the things to consider when endeavoring to amalgamate congregations.
Matthew Thigpen - Do they know us? Some suggestions of events and activities to help the local community to know more about the congregation
